Beachcomber #2

The BeachComber Cottage is part of a triplex, three charming beach cottages consisting of two homes each featuring 2 bedrooms and one bathroom and one cottage home featuring one bedroom and one bathroom. These homes are usually rented separately and are private from each other, but they may also be rented together for larger family groups or families traveling with other families. The Beachcomber #2 features 2 bedrooms, 1full bathroom and is located within walking distance, about 2 blocks to the coveted La Jolla Shores Beach. It is also just a quick stroll to many restaurants and shopping in La Jolla Shores on Avenida de la Playa. The Beachcomber #2 also features a large private fully fenced in patio with outdoor dining, and an outdoor conversation area.

Master Bedroom:
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and 2 reading lamps. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the second Guest bedroom. There is a large closet in this bedroom. Ceiling fans keep you cool in summer.

Bedroom #2:
The second bedroom features a queen bed, 2 reading lamps. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the master Bedroom. The two bedrooms are located in separate areas of the house, so they offer privacy.

Living Area:
Relax after a long day of swimming or sightseeing in our open living room. Comfortable seating, cable TV and secure WIFI is available. The sofa also folds out into a Queen Size bed. A DVD player is provided for more entertainment.

Kitchen and Dining Room:
Our fully-equipped kitchen offers all of the items you'd need to prepare and serve meals in our La Jolla Shores cottage. Your family or group will enjoy eating at our dining table that seats 4 to 6 Guests. High chairs and pac-n-play cribs are available upon request and their is plenty of additional seating in the outside private patio.

Outdoor Living at Its Best:
Enjoy your meals outdoors in our outdoor fully fenced in private patio off the living room. The private courtyard features a propane barbeque grill, an outdoor dinning table and chairs and an outdoor conversation area. Stroll the grounds of our cottages and enjoy the private garden.

La Jolla Shores Beach:
La Jolla Shores Beach is a family beach where you can stroll to the beach for long walks or to just bask in the sun in the afternoon. This sandy beach stretches for miles and has been voted "best Southern California Beach" The waves are the most gentle in the San Diego area and there is a wonderful playground at the beach, Kellogg Park which is perfect for small children.

Avenida de la Playa:
The Village in La Jolla Shores along Avenida de la Playa is about a 2 minute walk from our cottage and boasts some of the best restaurants found in La Jolla. Choose between world class dining at Piatti, Barbarella, Osteria Romantica or La Jolla landmark casual dining options such as Jeff's Burgers, and the Cheese Shop. There is also a great Mexican restaurant and a sushi restaurant. On Avenida de la Playa, you can also rent kayaks, scuba tanks, and snorkeling equipment. All the surf schools and surf camps are also located in the shores, so this is a convenient location for all your beach vacation activities.
